1. What is BreņaMail?
BreņaMail is a Managed Mail Filtering Service. Its purpose it to scan inbound e-mail traffic for SPAM
and virus. This bad mail is then quarantined off of your network keeping you safe from any potential
threat it may pose and allows you to recapture valuable bandwidth that otherwise would be
consumed by bad mail.


2. Why use BreņaMail when I already have a filter in my network?
In order for network filters to do their job, the bad mail must actually be on your network. BreņaMail
keeps the bad mail off of your network allowing you to recapture valuable resources that would
otherwise be consumed by bad mail. We believe the best approach to keeping your e-mail
environment clean is with proactive prevention. Specifically, BreņaMail will proactively prevent the
junk mail from ever being introduced into your environment.


3. If I use BreņaMail, should I abandon my current filter?
BreņaMail believes the most comprehensive approach to be a layered one. If keeping the secondary
or tertiary filter in place is not cost-prohibitive, we recommend you keep it as your second layer of
defense.


4. Do I have to install BreņaMail in my network?
BreņaMail is a completely hosted managed mail filtering service. It requires no hardware or software
be introduced into your IT environment. Even better, you do not need to manage it. The BreņaMail
mail servers are maintained daily by our professional engineering team.
